The gyro place where we live closed and we heard the chef came to this location so of course we came here on a Sunday afternoon to try it and they did not disappoint! We were worried we'd have to wait for seating since there was a line similar to IHOP for Sunday brunch but we were seated immediately in a booth. The diner was busy and all seats were filled. Still service was fwy k to take our order and give us drinks. When the food came out in a reasonable time, the temperature was hot, portions were perfect and the flavor was delectable. The diner was nicely decorated and gold accents everywhere. Great family restaurant, free parking, good food, and reliable service.

Western Diner never disappoints. Food plentiful and delicious and service great! A nice community feel.

Super friendly staff. I picked up. We are still settling into the new home. Kid got a grilled cheese. It looked. Wife got gyro with lamb and huge side salad. They included 1000 island on the side. My french dip was loaded with shaved ribeye and the roll was super fresh. Desserts were all up front in display case. We will be back!

Consistently above average diner that is never outstanding. Prices are on the higher side for a diner, but it is a nice setting compared to the typical diner. Awful burger

I've been coming to this diner pretty consistently since I've been in high school. Whenever you're craving a filling breakfast, kind servers and fast service, this diner is your place to go. Each visit I'm greeted and served quickly, met with water and menus. If one server is busy, another is quick to cover and make sure your meal or beverage arrive quickly. Even their espresso is tasty, not burned when made. While you may get a small town feeling from eating here, their menu offers lots of variety to appease everyone in your group. I recommend you stop by for breakfast whenever you find yourself in Union county!

Its a diner - display cases full of desserts, counter service, bright lights, booths aplenty, great for groups, time your visit carefully or you will wait! Cheeseburger deluxe was hearty, fries are crisp and salty - ASK for pickle and slaw if you want 'em, otherwise they are omitted (understandable). Kids love choco chip pancakes; I mean who doesn't? Sandwiches are loaded nicely. Worth the price (still very agreeable!) and visit.

Nice, local, family-friendly diner with your standard diner fare. At first I thought the menu was pricier than expected until I saw the HUGE portion sizes. The dinner specials are especially worth it - it includes soup/salad, entree (+ some entrees include additional sides), and dessert, which more than comfortably feeds two people. We brought a few overseas friends here, and they always get a kick out of the portion sizes. I don't think I've ever left here without leftovers!
